Despite of the dreamy vineyard village atmosphere of Caudiès de Fenouillèdes, Cave Ancienne is integrated remarkably well into the network of national and international traffic connections. Situated about 50 km west of Perpignan and 70 km south of Carcassonne, Cave Ancienne is easily accessible from either city.

Aeroplane

Both Perpignan (½ hour) as well as Carcassonne (1 hour) have their own airports that also offer international connections. Ryanair flies to both airports.

Other airports of the region are located at Toulouse (approx. 150 km), Montpellier (approx. 180 km), Gerona (approx. 2 hours by car) and Barcelona (approx. 2½ hours by car. Barcelona offers the greatest range of international connections, but Gerona certainly provides a good alternative as many charter airlines use this airport, which is popular with tourists headed for the Costa Brava.
